Brand strategy

To know where you want to go.

Before the logo, before the color, before the manifesto. There is one question almost nobody asks seriously: what makes a brand matter? That is where we start.

What we cover

Three fronts we work on together. Leave one out and the other two fall short.

01

Value proposition

Finding what truly sets your brand or product apart — the difference the market is willing to pay for.

02

Audiences

Telling apart the groups of people looking for what you offer: their interests, their tensions, the way they buy.

03

Clear messaging

Defining the message for each segment and shaping its format and tone — so it lands, and so it stays.

Our process

Finding the core of your brand

A brand is only as strong as the pillars holding it up. If a product has no clear proposition, a campaign can dress it up for a while. It cannot fix it.

For the market to choose you first, the real value proposition has to be defined and sharpened. You should feel it at every touchpoint, starting with the About page.

Your brand is a character with a personality of its own, built to deliver the results you — and your clients — expect. That is why the first step is always strategic. The aesthetics come after.

  1. 01

    Analysis and context

To aim well, we need to know the terrain and the players on it.

    • Company culture
    • Direct and indirect competitors
    • Market context
    • SWOT analysis
  2. 02

    Strategic definition

We pin down audiences, business model and communication goals.

    • Target audiences
    • MIN model (needs · motivations · ideals)
    • Communication goals
  3. 03

    Strategic decisions

We make the decisions that will steer the brand for the years ahead.

    • Value proposition
    • Segmentation
    • Branding
    • Positioning
  4. 04

    Creative concept

We distill the whole strategy into one driving idea that travels to any format.

    • What to say?
    • To whom?
    • How?

You end up with the foundation for every message, every piece and every brand decision — one that stays coherent over time.

Frequently asked questions

Why does strategy come before design?
Because it orders everything that follows: who the brand is, what sets it apart and who it speaks to. Design built on that foundation has a job to do. So we start there, before the logo.
What does the strategy phase include?
Value proposition, audiences, messaging and positioning, brought together in a brand platform. It is a short, concrete guide that steers every decision.
Is it useful if my brand already exists?
Yes. A rebrand often needs more strategy than a new brand — you have to decide what to keep and what to let go before touching anything visual.
How long does it take?
The discovery phase usually takes two to four weeks. It is the slow part on purpose: time spent here saves time everywhere else.
