Case study

Atalaya — A brand that lets the work speak

Project Atalaya · Fine-art printing & contemporary photography (Valladolid)

Context

A fine-art printing studio and contemporary photography gallery in Valladolid. The brand had to be as carefully made as the prints it produces.

The challenge

A fine-art print studio lives on materiality and detail. Its brand had to feel like a workshop and a gallery: warm, tactile, specific — nothing that could pass for stock.

Let the work speak.

— A note from the studio

A minimal, geometric mark — the watchtower as a point of view — on tactile materials, paper and canvas. Restrained typography and plenty of air: the identity behaves like the gallery space and lets the work speak.

The solution
